A couple of years ago Medicare opened a new period of time called OEP. This period begins January 1st and runs through the end of March.
OEP is an enrollment period where you can change your Medicare Advantage Plan one time for the rest of the year.
Why would you do this?
Perhaps you did not get around to making a change during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15-Dec. 7) and would still like to make a change;
Perhaps you did make a change and now would like to go back to what you had;
Or maybe you just want to know what your options are for the coming year.
